Self-determination theory is a theory of human motivation and wellness. This presentation provides an overview of self-determination theory and how it has been applied to different areas of life. 

Professor Richard Ryan is one of the leading international experts on motivational research. The self-determination theory that he developed together with prof. Edward Deci is most cited contemporary theory of motivation and it has been applied to many fields, including business. His research has been cited in outlets such as New York Times, Forbes, Wall Street Journal, and Scientific American. See more:
