Research seminar with Professor Iris Tommelein from University of Berkeley, California

We will have a lively, dialogic research seminar with our ‘guest star’ Professor Iris Tommelein from University of Berkeley, California. Professor Tommelein will act as opponent at the public defense of Rita Lavikka on the following day. Iris Tommelein is an expert on construction site layout and logistics, as well as materials- and supply chain management, and Director of the Project Production Systems Laboratory at Berkeley.
The seminar schedule will be the following:

9:15-10:30 Research at the Project Production Systems Laboratory at the University of Berkeley, Professor Iris Tommelein
10:30-10:45 Break
10:45-12:00 Research themes at SimLab: project management and process innovation in construction, proactive contracting and inter-organizational processes in services; gaming and knowledge creation, facilitation of cross-company business collaboration. Researcher presentations, and discussions.
12:00 Closing of the seminar
