What: DIEM Doctoral Students Talk – an informal event dedicated to current doctoral students and those interest in doctoral studies in DIEM

Why: To get to know each other better, hear doctoral student’s wishes and suggestions concerning DIEM Doctoral Program and enjoy some after work refreshments

When: 16 March 2017 at 15.00-16.30 (program), 16.30 onwards refreshments and mingling

DIEM Doctoral Student Talk


Dear DIEM doctoral students,


We invite all DIEM doctoral students to the first (but not last) DIEM Doctoral Student Talk. The idea is simple! We want to develop the interaction, supervision, seminars, and courses for DIEM doctoral students and thought that the best way to do this is by inviting you all to a low-key interaction focused event where we would have some fun, have some ideation, and have some interaction with that sole purpose to generate input, inspiration, and involvement in DIEM doctoral studies and program 2.0.

The DIEM Doctoral Student Talk will be Thursday 16th of March 2017 from 15:00 onward. On the agenda is the introduction to the new personnel responsible for coordinating and developing the DIEM Doctoral Program, to hear each of your inputs wishes and suggestions (small group work), and to have you meet up with other DIEM doctoral student who are doing research on exciting subjects, using various methods and focused on different theories. We will also have a small exercise for you to have a view over the range of subject students are studying, methodologies used, and theoretical bases.

After the organized program part from 15.00 to 16.30, there will be some wine, refreshments and snacks and time for informal mingling until 17.30. In order to help us to scale the amount of food and drinks please register latest on 12.3.2017.
