Lotta Harju, M.Soc.Sc., will defend the dissertation "Taming the Beast of Boredom - Exploring Boredom at Work and the Role of Job Crafting" on 21 September 2017 at 12 noon in Aalto University School of Science, lecture hall TU1, Maarintie 8 (former Otaniementie 17), Espoo. The thesis examined the prevalence of boredom in Finnish workplaces, its contexts in white-collar work and the role of job crafting in its prevention.
